Degrees at WBS are designed for students who have completed a bachelor’s degree. However, some students have experience that can compensate for a limited educational background. Web-based programs geared at primary school students (K-8) typically incorporate a high level of multimedia and interactive activities designed to stimulate learners as they complete their coursework. Many of these programs are targeted at special needs learners, and focus on subjects where children tend to struggle the most, such as the core competencies of reading, writing, and math. Financial Aid: A variety of scholarships and loan options are available to help pay for seminary. Revenues for seminary operations come primarily from outside contributions. Student tuition and fees cover only a small percentage of the total educational expenses. Loans: WBS offers federal direct unsubsidized student loans. This is a loan borrowed by the student. Interest begins to accrue on the loan at the time it is disbursed. Students may make payments on the interest while enrolled or allow it to be capitalized until repayment. Repayment begins once a student drops below half-time status, withdraws, or graduates for a period of six months.
