How to change atrings? Wrap the new string around the peg: First, rotate the peg so that you can see the small hole where the string should go. Stick the straight end of the string into the hole so that it goes all the way through but does not stick out too much on the other side of the peg or it will get caught on the peg box when rotating the peg. Next turn the peg away from you so that the string wraps around the peg. Try to wrap the string in the direction of the outside of the peg box so that when you are finished the string leads straight to the nut and doesn’t cross across the peg box. Also, try not to overlap the string when wrapping. If the string is the correct size for your instrument all strings should be the exact length to not need overlapping when winding on the peg. Only change strings that are the correct size for your instrument.

Supporting conservation programmes through my art and products! I have recently launched my first products that are supporting conservation programmes worldwide! I have wanted to make this move for a long time but unfortunately hadn’t gotten around to it. As I come to the end of my BSc Degree in Wildlife Conservation I wanted to make this shift at the start of this year, and so from this year forward, every product I launch will in some way be supporting charities, projects, or campaigns that are rescuing animals from hurtful human activities, campaigning to improve national and international government wildlife or environmental-based policies, and those that are allowing wildlife and their environments to thrive through their efforts!

Following on from my A’Levels, I was awarded a place at Staffordshire University, UK, to study Fine Art, and decided to defer my degree until 2014 so that I could travel to the Far East during my gap year. Whilst in Thailand in early 2014, I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at Kanchanaburi Safari & Rescue Centre, taking care of their orphaned and rescued animals. One piece, completed on location over 20 hours, to portray the celebration of HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the city of Liverpool. Discover more information on www.vlgstudios.com.

Home decor idea: Terry Bear limited edition art wall print

Wall art idea: Professional photographer wildlife hand signed limited edition art on large canvas wall print by Terry Bear? What if you’re hanging living room wall art over furniture like a sofa or sofa table? Hang the artwork so the bottom edge is 6-8 inches from where the table or sofa back ends. Next, decide how high to hang your wall art. Wall art height is the concept that goes wrong the most. The general rule of thumb is to hang wall art at your sight line, so you don’t have to look up too high or too low at it. That means the center of your wall art area is about 60 inches from the ground.

An oversized painting or photograph will command attention and set the tone in a small space. Try a black-and-white photo in a minimalist space or add color with a vibrant abstract piece. Nothing adds personality and color quite like a gallery wall. Display a collection of art or photographs, or add wall hangings and other ephemera. Opt for simple, cohesive frames or bring in an array of ornate variations to mix things up! Pro tip: Extend the gallery wall to the ceiling to create the illusion of a larger space.

Add this beautiful piece of canvas wall art to any room in your house or office for a great piece of home decor. This is the 1st edition print of a picture taken by artist Terry Bear. Only 40 were printed with each print signed and numbered by the artist. The large wall art print features a thick gallery 1.5 inch canvas wrapped frame that measures 36 x 24 inches. Comes with 2 hooks on both sides of the frame to hang (see pictures).

Originally from Santa Fe, Terry Bear now resides on a ranch in southern Colorado, where he skillfully practices his photography and wood art sculptures for the past 20 years. Terry’s interest in photography started in the aspen filled high mountains of northern New Mexico before graduating from UNM in the late ’90s. That was where he gained a lot of inspiration and experience, which has helped propel him in the photography world. He specializes in combining all aspects of design into a single image that is guaranteed to wow you. And his passion for nature, wildlife, and the environment are well represented in his art. He is a strong advocate for the protection of the planet and its beauty, especially with climate change effects. Michael Jackson’s daughter books – The dark side of the Netherlands

Jan

Michael Jackson is one of the most popular artists in human history and that’s why everything related to him is huge. You maybe heard about the case of Mocienne Petit Jackson, called by the media the Michael Jackson’s secret daughter. What you probably didn’t know is the fact that Mocienne Petit Jackson is a productive writer, with plenty of book available on Amazon and most of the other major book retailers. Against the conclusion that has been drawn by people of the international media, the L.A. County Superior Court did not reject the case of Mocienne Petit Jackson in 2010 on the basis of the case’s validity. Instead, the request to validate Ms Jackson’s claim using DNA evidence from the deceased Michael Jackson was not granted due to the fact that the State of California does not possess the jurisdiction to conduct DNA tests on the deceased. As a result, the case has remained open indefinitely.

In this, the first of a three-part autobiography by Mocienne Petit Jackson, we meet the main character Mocienne. We read about her wonderful adventures from the age of six until the age of nine. She lived with her father – Michael Jackson! – in California. As he was not at home very often she was always in the company of a nanny. However, one nanny was continuously being replaced by the next. Mocienne was also often sick. Her father made an important decision and moved her to Haiti to go and live with an aunt –he wanted her to be part of a family. In time, she realised that her father was not like other fathers and that he was not who he claimed to be: a policeman. He would often visit her on Haiti when he was not busy with a performance. Read extra info on Michael Jackson secret daughter and her books – Thriller Betrayal.

She asserts that the stories which had been published in late-2010 in light of the case have had a damaging effect on her reputation and on her business operations, and she expresses her belief that some measure of responsibility ought to be taken for the detrimental effects that being in the media spotlight can have on one’s repute. Ms Jackson also points out that the role of social media runs in a similar vein—alleging that it was used as a means to verbally harass her in relation to the court case, as well as to spread misinformation more generally.

Ms Jackson believes that such misinformation has poorly informed the public both about her relationship to Michael Jackson, and about her motives for having taken the matter to court. Her autobiographical series, Thriller, documents her life and gives her assessment on the state of affairs. Additionally, due to the fact that her aunt Diana Ross has declined to provide the press with comment regarding Michael Jackson since his death, Ms Jackson believes that crucial insights about the story are being concealed from the public. As a result of this, Ms Jackson was prompted to write the second instalment of her three-part autobiographical series, Thriller: The Dark side of the Netherlands, which focuses on her life in the Netherlands as well as the context surrounding the court case.

Part two of the three-part autobiography of Mocienne Petit Jackson starts with an extended description of the kidnapping of Mocienne and her life in The Netherlands. Subsequently we read how her life turned out with her adoptive family – where she and her cousin Délivrance stayed.Gradually she discovers that her real father is Michael Jackson. At the age of 15 she left her adoptive family, lived at a boarding school for 4 years and then got a place of her own. We follow her throughout the time when she passed through her teenage years and entered maturity – which was not always easy.Mocienne meets a man who she has a child with. However, this commitment was not to be.We learn about the problems she encounters with the Child Protection Services, followed by many court cases. At first, the court cases related to her own situation, later on they turned into a battle for her son. The one unacceptable situation followed yet another unacceptable situation. We also learn about the many traumatic events of the main character, her depressions and countless struggles to process the misery linked to her life and her strife to let it go. The writer clearly explains these struggles through vivid flashbacks. Discover additional details at The dark side of the Netherlands – Michael Jackson daughter books.

Legal circumstances aside, Ms Jackson also expresses a strong personal sentiment toward Michael Jackson. She claims that, although the relationship she had had with her father did not manage to fully develop, he had indeed loved her and he was glad to have her as his child. Mocienne Petit Jackson’s Thriller autobiographies were published in 2015 and were made available on Amazon in 2018. They are also currently available for purchase through Kobo. The books are available in English, Dutch, and Chinese. Future versions of the books will be made available in French (2020), Portuguese (2019), Japanese (2020), German (2020), and in Spanish (2020).

Limited edition bronze animal sculptures art collections

Looking for Limited edition bronze statues anniversary gifts? Bronze statues are perfect for a special gift occasion or if you want to infuse some art in to your home. The “Lost Wax” bronze casting method dates back centuries to ancient Chinese, Indian, Greek and Egyptian cultures. And though the technique has evolved, it’s still much like it was in ancient times.

I’m sure there are plenty of you out there who, like me, struggle to find anniversary gifts that are unique yet meaningful to your lasting love and relationship. Traditionally, the 8th wedding anniversary is commemorated by gifts of bronze or pottery. Who knew? The 8th may not get as much attention as 10, 20, or 50, but if you keep reading, you’ll see why maybe it should… Bronze and pottery both have very sweet, traditional symbolism. Bronze sculptures are made with great care and craftsmanship, focusing on precise details resulting in a strength meant to last many lifetimes. Details are kind of important to a long-lasting relationship, don’t you think? Additionally, the finishing touches and patina are critical to protect the bronze and prevent the colors from changing over time. Translation — Your love must be tended to and protected over time, or like anything else, it will fade. Pottery also shares an obvious symbolism in the shaping and molding of a work of art that is meant to last. The modern 8th anniversary gift choice is linens. Borrrring! Even if I didn’t create bronze sculptures, I would still prefer the traditional and unique gift of bronze. Without further ado, here are some of my sculptures that were created with the bronze anniversary gift in mind! Find additional info on Bronze anniversary gifts.

Advice for getting bronze art appraised: Do some research. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a certificate of authenticity. If you don’t have one, the first step to deciphering a value for your bronze sculpture is doing some old-fashioned research. The first step is finding the artist. Somewhere on your bronze sculpture, the creator of the piece will have left their initials, signature, trademark or emblem. With this information, you can look up the artist and search for similar pieces by them. This initial research can go a long way in getting an idea of the value of your bronze art.

Bronze statues cleaning: Now you can add wax and polish. One rule — no car wax! Often this will dry white, which looks terrible. It can also contain cleaning agents harmful to bronze. The best wax to use is simple, clear paste wax. Brands such as Trewax (for lighter colored sculptures) or Johnson’s (for darker colored sculptures) will work fine. Apply using a soft rag and give the sculpture a light coating. Let that dry and then apply one more coating. After that, you’re all done! You’ve now learned how to clean outdoor bronze sculptures! See? Not so bad. Stand back and admire your freshly cleaned and re-protected outdoor bronze sculpture.

My wonderful Desk Buddies series are a more accessible part of my collection. They are intended to capture the spirit and energy of my larger limited edition pieces, all while fitting into any setting in your home or office. These pieces are perfect for offices, living rooms, bedrooms, and more, and make a wonderful gift for both seasoned bronze collectors as well as those who are just starting to grow their collections. Custom snowglobes idea

Four major companies in America continued to produce snow globes of varying quality and subject including souvenirs, but also holiday globes and novelty gifts. It was a similar landscape in Europe, with a few manufacturers dominating the snow globe scene. By the 1980s, snow globes were still a staple of the gift industry, but they’d also become the epitome of kitsch—probably because everyone and everything from Disney’s Bambi to the Lone Ranger to Niagara Falls and the White House could be put under glass and forced to endure frequent and bewildering snowstorms. But what does the market look like today? Oddly enough, snow globes remain big business. There is a sizable collector’s market for both antique and novelty domes. And Erwin Perzy III’s company is still healthy. The Vienna shop produces upwards of 200,000 snow globes a year, and that’s just a small part of the market. It’s perhaps a mark of how familiar a form a snow globe is, and what innocent—almost saccharine—kitsch they’re meant to be that they can be so gleefully perverted, as this collection of weird, macabre, and wonderful snow globes demonstrates.

Easily the most famous creators of strange snow globes are Walter Martin and Paloma Munoz. The couple’s art generally features grisly and melancholy miniature scenes that are photographed close up for drastic effect. This image is from their long-running Travelers series, all of which specifically take place inside of snow globes. Additional information at custom snowglobes.

You place the dome in your hand, turn it over and beautifully, magically the New York skyline, or your favorite Disney character or the Golden Buddha is engulfed in a swirling slow-motion blizzard. Everyone can relate to them – evoking a childhood memory or nostalgia of a simpler time. For the moments that the snow descends, we’ve created a whole new landscape where everything is quiet and all you can do is watch the flitter-fall.

Thomas Edison invented the first string of electric Christmas lights. Edison brilliantly displayed a string of lights outside his workplace, the Menlo Park Laboratory in New Jersey, in 1880. The first people to see them were train passengers riding by the building. It was Edison’s partner, Edward H. Johnson, who took the idea and applied it to Christmas trees. He was the first person to hand wire 80 colored light bulbs and wrap them around his Christmas tree. Prior to this idea, people would try to light up their Christmas trees with candles.
