Michaela Jamelska or the upsurge of a tech entrepreneur professional
The rise of a tech & human rights expert : Michaela Jamelska: The virtual classes that take place nowadays in a boring Zoom environment will be replaced by a new world of immersive learning and entertainment,” says founders Jean Arnaud and Michaela Jamelska. “One of the problems with mass education today is a lack of personalization. For a student, entering into a NOVA classroom will be like stepping into Narnia from the comfort of their own space. The AI avatars will support students during their studies and real teachers will have expanded possibilities with digital tools that make each class a unique experience. Students will move through the 3D environments as avatars and interact with each other and their teachers, despite being miles away in real life. NOVA is full of endless possibilities with students being able to create a new world with the power of thought and their own creativity. The reality of limited technology access for women is a big problem in 2023 says Michaela Jamelska: The fight for women’s rights has been a long and arduous journey, marked by significant achievements and setbacks. Women’s right to vote, secured by the suffragette movement, was a major milestone in this struggle. However, despite these achievements, gender inequality persists in various forms, ranging from the gender pay gap to limited access to technology. This article sheds light on data and statistical information that reveal the extent to which women’s access to technology is still limited.
Michaela Jamelska regarding Ai and Gender Equality: The term AI has recently become a buzzword; a marketing eye-catcher that jumps at you from everywhere these days, and is, frankly, tiring. I googled synonyms of AI, and there was a development of ‘thinking’ computer systems: DoCS – but I am not sure this abbreviation will impact this article as AI would do. So, let’s stick with AI. After all, we are creatures of habit, and this habit will play a particular role in this article. This article will look at a few risks associated with AI and potential solutions. AI technology is already transforming the labor market and changing the types of jobs and their quantity. Undeniably, the process of automation hugely affects employment structure and dictates whether existing jobs disappear or new jobs emerge. This increasing adoption of technology is driving the development of new jobs, according to a UNESCO report. Here is where AI has the potential to help or reinforce gender bias and hinder the DEI goal.
Michaela Jamelska regarding the innovative 5G trial to boost business : West of England Mayor Tim Bowles said: “5G has the potential to revolutionise whole industries and economies, creating exciting new jobs and opportunities. I want the West of England to be at the forefront of this revolution. “We have already led one successful trial and I’m thrilled that our plan to demonstrate how a smart and secure port could operate using the Internet of Things has been approved for funding by the Government. Backing innovation and the jobs of the future and bringing new investment to the region by securing a Freeport are key parts of our plan for economic recovery, so this is a big vote of confidence in the West of England.” WECA is leading a consortium of partners on the £5.2m 5G Logistics project – one of nine projects to receive government funding – which includes companies ADVA, Airspan, AttoCore, Bristol Port, Cellnex UK, Gravity, Maritime, Unmanned Life, Bristol City Council, Bristol University and Cardiff University. 5G is the type of cutting-edge technical innovation that the West of England is looking to embrace with its forthcoming Freeport bid.
I read an opinion recently where someone said that being in a virtual world is just an illusion of identity, and our freedom is limited to what the corporation decides to do. Simply put, they are saying that our entire existence is cancellable, or in the hands of others, which conflicts with basic human rights ideology. While their opinion has some truth, we face risks in the real world, too—we are even ‘cancellable’ in a way if someone decides to attack and kill us in the street. While this may be an extreme and drastic comparison, it illustrates the idea that we can’t make assumptions about the limits of our freedoms in the virtual world. Certainly, our freedom in the online world has limits drawn from commercial interests, but our freedom has limitations in the real world as well, stemming from political interests, commercial interests, and so on. We don’t have full freedom in the real world; neither will we have it in the virtual world.
How 5G is crucial for autonomous multi-robots fleets and connected smart cities. Our CEO has set the vision for AI, Autonomy and 5G and will share this with an audience of more than 7000 participants from different countries in Asia. As he points out “We see growing demand for SG private / campus networks enabled autonomous services for smart manufacturing, factories, retail, logistics and supply-chain as well as 5G public network enabled rapid emergency response, comprehensive surveillance and inspections and robust live content streaming from mega public events.
Michaela Jamelska about the future of Air Mobility in Europe: The integration of Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) systems into Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems will significantly contribute to understand the safe, secure and sustainable integration of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and commercial drone operations. Unmanned Life platform will be responsible of the design and development of a simulation testbed which aims to inject data from manned and unmanned flights into GOF 2.0 systems. The first trials will take place in – 2021 between August and October in Estonia (Tallin & Tartu), Finland (Helsinki), Poland (Kąkolewo) and Austria (Graz). It will showcase that both manned and unmanned aviation can coexist in the airspace. This project arises from the fast-growing drone industry in Europe in all type of environments, including urban areas, and the need of a scalable U-Space architecture.
AI could predict suicidal behaviors and save lives: Researchers have developed a new machine learning-based algorithm that shows high accuracy in identifying adolescents who are experiencing suicidal thoughts and behavior. Orion Weller of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and his team presented the findings in the open-access journal PLOS ONE on November 3rd, 2021. The new algorithm’s accuracy is higher than previous ones, which can improve understanding of adolescent suicidal behaviors and alert. Ai could ultimately improve prevention efforts and new practices tackling this issue.
