Ibiza travel attractions
Do you need to bath in the sun ? Ibiza is an amazing location to relax. What can you do in Ibiza? Playa d’en Bossa: Ibiza’s main resort is next to the longest beach on the island. On summer days it’s a paradise for the young party crowd; you can sleep off the night before under a parasol as relaxing, low-tempo music from beachfront djs wafts over the shore. If you can work up the energy jet skis and paddleboats can be hired next to the beach, and there a load of places to pick up food when you get hungry. After dark and until the sun comes up it’s party central, with two of Ibiza’s largest clubs, Ushuaia and Space right in the resort.
The resort of Cala Llonga boasts a wide and sandy white beach, views over a beautiful bay and even hills covered in pine trees to frame the scenery. This is perhaps the most family-oriented place to visit in Ibiza, which means that you’ll find plenty of families with young children in the area. The main beach even offers a playground and a miniature amusement park to keep kids having fun throughout the vacation. Cala Llonga is also situated just 10 minutes from Ibiza Town, which means you can easily head away from the beach and explore the historic attractions any time.
The iconic Cafe del Mar, in San Antonio, opened in 1980, and has become synonymous with chill-out music and sun-downers. Famous the world over for its chill-out compilation albums, the cafe has a large terrace, where you can enjoy a cocktail or two, and enjoy the music as the sun sets over the sea. The food is pretty decent too. It may seem like a cliche but it’s something you should experience at least once when in Ibiza.
When surrounded by clubs and beach bars, there won’t appear to be many gourmet food options — but you will notice heaps of late night shops selling that greasy food we all know and love at 3 a.m. Kebabs and pizza are great and all, but have you tried Spanish paella? If you’re craving something less greasy, more local, take a trip to Kalissol Ibiza Santa Eulalia del Rio and treat yourself to a mouth-watering meal. It has some of the best paella on the island (take our word for it). Refuel, then continue with your alternative Ibiza activities! Read extra details at https://discoveribiza.com/.
