Trei Amici Games presents Too Many Turtles tactical card game? Too Many Turtles is a tactical point builder card game in which two players compete over the course of up to 3 rounds to build the biggest army of turtles that they can. The player with the highest amount of points at the end of the round wins and the game goes to the first player to win 2 out of 3 rounds. In our base set, you will find two pre-built decks of cards made to play against each other. On one side, you have Turtron: The Legendary Defender, a giant robotic turtle from outer space that has come to earth. He and his army of hatchlings are trying to combat the devastating effects mankind is having on turtles and the environment using a variety of effect cards like Shell Restoration and Environmental Clean Up.

Now some info about real world turtle problems. Sea Turtle Conservancy. Sea Turtle Conservancy was established in 1956 after some of the earliest publications detailing the plight of sea turtles amid global climate change. Their primary focus has been preserving the Caribbean Green Sea Turtle, bringing it back from the brink of extinction. Based in Gainesville, Florida, Sea Turtle Conservancy is no a multifaceted operation, with educational programs and research focusing on sea turtles. The research department operates across Latin America, primarily in the coastal areas ringing the Caribbean where they can track movement and behavior of the local turtle populations.

The field is laid out in 3 rows forming a pyramid. In your back row, you have four slots for turtles. Every time you summon a turtle, that turtle must start in the back row and move up the field. Some turtles will allow you to summon them into higher rows, and some effects cards even affect movement, but we will address that more in the upcoming Movement section. Your starting hand will consist of 7 cards and your deck will be placed to the side of the field. Your pond (Discard pile) will be right above your deck. You will draw a card at the start of each turn, unless you are starting a round. Not all turtles have effects. You might notice some of our common turtles are simply just named after real life common turtles (Like Cletus, The Eastern River Cooter). These turtles are identifiable by the turtle facts in place of any effects. Don’t worry though! These guys are still useful to your strategy! A good leader never underestimates his turtles! The Impact: Luckily for all of you amazing people reading this, the three of us aren’t quite smart enough to believe we can’t change the world. We chose SEE Turtles as our Non-Profit Partner because they work around the world to defend turtle hatchlings from danger so they can thrive. We need to take action before Sea Turtles go extinct. So, for every pack we sell, we pledge to save (at least) 50 hatchlings with the help of SEE Turtles. Once we realized the danger posed to turtle populations worldwide by human activity, we realized it was our responsibility to do something to help.
